CVA Guns Kodiak Muzzleloader

The CVA Kodiak Pro muzzleloader uses a pivot block action instead of a break action as in the CVA Optimas. To open the action just place your thumb on a small lever at the back of the trigger guard. With a downward pressure the whole trigger guard as well as the back of the action will pivot away allowing easy access for either cleaning or priming the gun. By adopting a pivot block action the Kodiak can use a one piece stock, instead of a forend and buttstock like the Optimas. This gives the Kodiak muzzleloader a decidedly different look and feel, one that many hunters prefer.

Performance, is however, still the same as in the Optima Pro muzzleloader as the Kodiak muzzleloader uses a 29 inch barrel milled to the same specifications. Like the Optimas a hunter can choose between blued, nickle, and all camo barrel models. Every Kodiak Pro also comes equipped with a Quake Claw sling and a Crushzone recoil pad.

The Kodiak also offers a handsome laminated stock, an option not availible in the Optimas.
