Of all Traditions guns, the Pursuits have been the most popular. The Pursuit is an inline muzzleloading gun that breaks in the middle, similar to single shot shotguns. By breaking in the middle the Pursuits are easy to prime, just place a primer in the nipple and close, and easy to clean, just back the breech plug out without having to remove any bolts or firing pins.

All muzzleloading Traditions guns are drilled and tapped for mounting a rifle scope. Although they already come with a good set of fiber optic sights, a rifle scope allows a hunter to take advantage of the Traditions guns long range potential. Rifle scope equipped muzzleloading Traditions guns are capable of taking deer and other big game cleanly at 200 yards.
